Being a student at Michigan State allows one to receive a well rounded education while still focusing on specific areas of study and allowing students to still have a bit of fun while doing it. All undergraduate students are required to take introductory courses in things such as: the arts and humanities, social sciences, science classes (for those who aren't science majors), and very interesting literature classes.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
State is a perfect example of a Big-Ten school right in the middle of in a college town. Many students have season tickets to both football and basketball games, which I personally suggest getting, because game time allows fellow Spartans to come together. There is also lots to do in downtown East Lansing-including shops, places to eat, a theater, and mall. The Greek system isn't super huge, but I've seen and met a fair share of those who have decided to go Greek. I've also met a lot of really great people!!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I seems like there's a daily hike in tuition, but it's worth every penny overall.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Study, Study, Study!!!!
