I just love the teachers here, they care about you as an individual. I have never learned so much! As a student with learning disabilities and having little to no Biblical background, I have learned a tremendous amount about not just the Bible, but being a Christian and what that means in my life.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
Great people, wonderful teachers, always new activities...I'm a spoiled college student!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Yes, college is expensive. But where else are you going to get class sizes like this with teachers like this? Seriously MCC is one of the best things to happen to me...And with that is going to be some college loans.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Apply yourself. Get involved. Study OFTEN. Do winter term for cheaper credits. Apply for scholarships like CRAZY. Don't work more than 20 hours a week ( not your first year...trust me ). Don't be late to class your first week into classes ( not to mention, in your PJ's, for a Paddock class...yes, trust me ). And remember to PRAY often.
Somehow it is harder to stay connected at a Bible college, just know this going in...your personal studies are VERY important and PRAYING often is crucial!
Which types of students will excel at your college?
MCC is great for students who are following after Gods own heart and want to include Him in their careers. MCC is not just for Ministry majors, but K-State students often take classes at MCC and get a Bible degree just to be more well rounded in the Bible.
