Overview
Serving four southeast Colorado counties, Lamar Community College is the smallest 2-year community college in the state. Coinciding with its great plains location, LCC offers degrees and certificates in Equine Science and Horse Training and Management among its 36 academic fields of study. LCC further encourages student horsemanship through organizations like the Spur’n Lopes Equine Club and Rodeo Club as well as a school sponsored Rodeo Team.
