Do you have any tips for prospective students?
If there is one thing students should realize when coming to lakeland, is that becoming involved is very important in having a great college experience. You don't want to be that student that isn't involved in anything. With that being said join a club or a sport, It will really benefit your social and academic experience. Be open to meeting new people and making friends with everyone, it will benefit you in the long run.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The academics here are truley amazing. The class sizes arent huge like a typical university so the small class size setting benefits many. The professors also are very caring and love their job just as much as you love being a student. Its important to develop good relationships with your teachers though. This is because it shows that you care about your education and future just as much as they do!
Describe the dorm life at your college.
This is where most of the fun happens outside of class. Living in an all-male dorm isn't as bad as it sounds. Yes at sometimes boys will be boys but if you know how to socialize well with others and your roommate, it can really be a fun experience. Everyone knows everyone in the halls and always says hello to everyone so its nice. Although if you get loud neighbors it might be annoying if they blast music or stay up late but that can be handled by yourself or the RA with quiet hours.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The food here is pretty good. There will be days though where you just don't feel like getting it because it doesn't look too appetizing to you. There is always the muskie mart and mart food if the main line doesn't catch your eye! They do a great job at maintaining a clean dining hall and organized.

There are many opportunities for students to become apart of any club, sport, or activities on campus. They are all open to anyone and provide fun entertainment for any student!
