Students who are serious about what they're doing, but want to be able to enjoy their time in college. The college doesn't put on crazy amounts of pressure like a Big 10 school, but the education is on par.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
LFC is expensive. BUT! They have outstanding financial aid. Even the lowest tier scholarship they give out pays for quite a bit of the yearly costs. The education you get is well worth the money though!
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Depending on the dorm you get, you'll either have a wonderful experience in a very nice dorm room, or you'll have an old room with paper thin walls. If you enjoy partying, go to a South Campus dorm, otherwise aim for middle or north.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Put in the effort to do the work. With the parties and events on campus it's very easy to get caught up in the fun that the college encourages, but they expect you to put in the work to earn those!
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
There is almost always something going on around campus that's college sponsored, but outside of that it's a very "make your own fun" kind of town. There are a host of bars in Lake Forest itself, but not a huge (or even middle sized) selection.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Lake Forest is tough but fair. The professors do an outstanding job of teaching subjects and help bring out the best in you... if you let them. The work load depends very heavily on the departments, and even on professor within the departments.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Wonderful food, wonderful staff. LFC goes out of it's way to provide great food for it's students.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Extremely safe, with a safe that takes its job very seriously.

Lake Forest encourages students to learn, offering many opportunities to those who attend. They make a great deal of effort to make students feel at home with both their facilities and their staff. If you put in the effort, LFC will pay you back 10-fold.
