Do you have any tips for prospective students?

However, after a student receives an ID, email and advisor, ease of communication increases dramatically. The website is easily navigated and advisors/professors are very responsive to students' emails and phone calls.

This coursework is challenging, but if students apply themselves and complete assignments, academic excellence is certainly obtainable. I found my professors very responsive to any questions I might have had and online/on campus tutoring is available regularly.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
GTCC has many "non-traditional" students that attend school in the evening after work. Therefore, campus safety is very important to the school. There are plenty of call boxes for campus police scattered about and their text message alert program is exceptional.
