Don't get overwhelmed, stay focused on your goal and help will surely come through. Prepare to experience some community service adventures if you've never had one
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Critical thinking is encouraged so the education is better and more useful in life for future purposes. Rote memorization is not required for most of the classes. Understanding the context helps a lot.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Depends on what you choose. Two Freshmen dorms, one peaceful and decent, the other is loud and wild. Life's good when you choose the correct one for yourself.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Decent cafeteria with vegan and vegetarian options. Guilford has its own farm from where almost all the food for the caf comes. It's organic and pretty healthy
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Hang out with friends, go for a movie. Rarely go clubbing(only when the time is right)
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Guilford's a quaker school, and since it encourages diversity, we have international days where we get to see a lot of different cultures and food. It's pretty interesting.
