Describe your college in three sentences.

Georgia Perimeter College is an affordable alternative to big-name universities that offers a great education nonetheless. It's conveniently located to many standbys and has easy access to the Metro system for commuters.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Apply early. Do not postpone any documents missing, and don't be afraid to ask for advice considering any questions you might have.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

Professorial are strict, and let the student know that right off the bat. The workload is heavy at times, but never to the point that the student wants to give up entirely. Encouragement is key.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Do not have a dorm yet, but they appear reasonably priced and conveiniantly located.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

There are a few local eateries near the Dunwoody campus, but most of the best restaurants are located further in Atlanta.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

There are always a plethora of events happening in downtown Atlanta, so quick access to the Metro means plenty of opportunities for fun outside of the college. Also, there are frequent activities occurring around campus, meaning there's rarely a dull moment. White Water Rafting? Yes. On-Campus Water Slides? Yep. Hiking and movie nights? Yes.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Classes are affordable, and there are financial aid options directly from the college.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

Even for a new student stepping on campus for the first time, the activity level of Clubs was immediately noticeable. There are a wealth of options for students to join and activities to participate in throughout the year.

In my short time here, I have not seen much in the way of Greek Activities and the like.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

The Dunwoody Campus has a dedicated Campus safety building, which watches over the student body to ensure the well-being of the students. Officers are well mannered and often can be seen engaging with the students. All in all, a safety conscious college!
