Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Many presume that Georgia Gwinnett College is an easy A school where one can just fly by and still maintain a 4.0. I'm sorry to sat this, but its not. Georgia Gwinnett College is a challenging school and, though it may not seem so as you attend, it prepares you for if you ever want to transfer or for when you get out in the real world. The teachers are always available for questions and concerns, which I love and they always try their best to break it down. With the exception of a few professors, they make sure that you fully understand all the material, which I have greatly appreciated. All you have to do is ask the question! College, in general, has opened me up to a whole new viewpoint and broadened my scope, but if you like small, intimate class rooms of 5 to 30 people, Georgia Gwinnett College is your perfect choice!

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

I love the college. There are so many places to study and relax. They have just built a new library, which contains tons of Apple Computers that are always available to everyone. They have plenty of study rooms that you can use upon request or reservation. They also have DVD's that students can rent to watch in a study room or in their newly built dorms. To keep students interested, the campus hosts events like the Masquerade Ball, Karaoke, and many other fun activities. There are so many places to chill inside and out. The campus is a beautiful place!

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

I would definitely say that this is a great bang for the buck. You can't put a price on the amount of dedication teachers have and the amount of fun that you will have. This is a great community college!

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Make sure that you fill out your FAFSA early and keep up with the office! If they don't answer your calls, go in the office to meet with someone! Some people did not receive financial aid until late in the semester because they filled it out late or no one answered the phones. Also research your professors before you pick them. I go to Rate my professors before I enroll in a class or I Google their name. Hope this helps!!!

Which types of students will excel at your college?

You should definitely go to the library! When you walk in you'll stand there for a good 3-5 seconds in amazement! I love the booths and the study rooms!
