With class sizes only 20-25 students teachers have a better chance to get to know you personally and help you with any problems you are having. Just about every class is equipped with power point and computers to help students learn. There is also a tutoring center, language labs, science labs, and a space lab where you can learn about different stars. Recently we have added a nursing and exercise science building to give students a more hands on experience. There are also several opportunities to join research teams.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
The campus is so beautiful. The faculty and staff are really nice and helpful. I really enjoy sitting on the front lawn reading a book or playing Frisbee. I also enjoy going on river walks. There are lots of different clubs, intramural teams, sororities, and fraternities to join. Our basketball team is really good too. Last year we went to the NCAA 2 division play offs. There is not much crime either, and the town of Milledgeville itself has pretty much everything even a Walmart. The campus as this new program called S.N.A.P. that helps students get back to their dorm after a late night of studying at the library. Every thing is really central too.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I thinks the dorms are really worth the extra money. The food is just your basic cafeteria food, but they do offer lots of variety. You also learn a lot too.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
My tips for students are to study hard, but have fun at the same time. Try new things in college. You may find a new interest. I recommend getting to know your teachers too since they will be the ones you will be going to for references. Get to know your roomate early. Things will go much smoother.

GCSU is a great school for students who are looking for smaller class sizes, a medium size campus population, and a beautiful campus. The dorms are also really nice since they are suite style. GCSU is also for students who want to have fun and learn a lot at the same time.
