Review of Florida Tech

from Vero Beach, FL

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Whether you want to or not, you will learn a lot. So far I have only spent one semester at Florida Institute of Technology and my professors are very serious about teaching their students. They do what they can to help you succeed in the class, and as long as you put in some effort to look for help, you will receive it either from a classmate, the professor, or the Academic Support Center. for the most part, my classes are very enjoyable.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

Campus life is very active, you just have to get out of your room and see the different activities that are being hosted by the different organizations on campus. Joining an organization is also a must so you can stay active on campus and out of your room.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

The tuition is very expensive, but most of their grants and scholarships pay for most of it. You definitely get what you pay for from your classes, but they could improve on their library.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

If your looking for a peaceful, small, urban college, this is the place for you. There is a lot of activity because FIT is located in a city, but it can also be very relaxing because the beach and the harbor is only 15 minutes away.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Students who are ambitious about their education and are very willing learn and work hard for their degree, this is the place for you.
