Everyday whether from the teachers or other students there is always knowledge to be gained.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
There is always something to do at FSU. With the various organizations, activities, and clubs on campus you will never be bored. That said it is up to you to get out and find something that interests you. So my suggestion is to get out of the dorms with some friends and get involved. It will make your college experience one to remember.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Unless you have a full ride to any college or university it will cost a pretty penny, but no matter where you decide to get your education it will always be worth it. However, at FSU our tuition pays for a number of perks such as our transportation. We have buses that run on and off campus during the day, and our Safe Bus and the Night Nole at night. It also covers our fitness facility which has state of the art equipment, free weights, olympic size swimming pool, spa area, food/nutrition experts.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Get Involved, Make Friends, Get to know Professors, Get help if you're falling behind in a class, Go to class Everyday (no matter how boring), Read the text book (unless not reccomended by Professor), Do the homework and extra credit (it's rarely given so take advantage), Use all the resources you have (Older students, Professors, RA's, and Peers), Most important pick something you love to do and stick with it whether it be a major or an activity. If you do what you have to do now, you can do what you want to do later.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
There is something for everyone at FSU. No matter who you are or where you come from. And if you find that there is something missing you are welcome to start a new organization to add to our diversity.
