Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Professors are very well educated and are acquainted with the course material. They also offer extended office hours to assist students with questions.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

Florida State University has a extremely diverse campus and offers a variety of clubs and organizations. Greek life is wonderful here :)

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

The cost is very low, but don't let the cheap factor fool you. The professors are over qualified for their positions. The university also awards hundreds of students with scholarships. Becoming a student, you also gain free activities, such as bowling, movies, and a large gym. There are also free activities everyday advertised in the Union.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Prospective students: - Apply early for housing - Apply for scholarships - Join a FIG - Do not overload yourself your first semester - Educate yourself about the campus - Keep in touch with your family - Stay away from partying, concentrate on your courses - Buy books after attending the first day of classes - Give yourself a day to learn the bus schedule - Join many different clubs and organizations - Get involved in Greek Life - Attend all sport events - Dance in Dance Marathon (Children's Miracle Network) - Do not procrastinate - Study a little at a time, not the night before an exam - Time Management - Get acquainted with your professors - Attend office hours, reviews

Due to the great diversity of Florida State University campus, all types of students are welcomed. Students from all walks of life are able to call Florida State University their home. Majors offered include art history, business, biological science, Asian studies, classics and religion, nursing, and theatre; among many others. The campus also offers a variety of clubs and organizations to meet any standards, which brings students from a distance closer together.
