Review of Florida State University

from Shalimar, FL

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

The professors I've had so far are extremely knowledgeable at what they are sharing. Teaching is what they love doing, so a tip for all prospective students is to talk to your professors outside of class.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

It's an extremely beautiful campus with friendly people. If you're worried about how many people attend this school, don't let it affect your decision too much because you will probably find a small group of tight nit friends right away as well as a larger network of friends.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Time management is key. Not only do you have to manage all of your school work, but you have to manage when you hang out with friends, when you eat, and when you fit in everything in between. Also, try out a meal plan for at least your first year. It will keep you on a regular eating schedule full of nutritious foods that I have founds surprisingly delicious.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

There are so many types of students here I wouldn't worry about fitting in. However, you must be ready to learn!
