It is a nice school. The campus is beautiful. The people are nice here.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Don't be afraid to be yourself. Once you enter college, bullying doesn't exist anymore. Just work hard and ask the professor for help and you will succeed in college.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
My professor is very nice and helpful.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
There is no dorm life. If you want to explore and live on your own, this is not the school for you. If you want to stay close to home and enjoy living with your family and don't want to move out for college, than this is the school for you.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
I eat from home.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
I just take a night class, but they have clubs at Evergreen that you can take.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Going to community college is a smart way to save a lot of money and debt to get an education. The only con is that the process of getting a bachelor's degree is longer.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Those who want to stay close to home and like living with their family. It is also great for those who want to get a college education, but can't financially afford to go to a four year university or there grades were not good enough for a four year university.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
It is safe. Nobody bothers me when I am waiting for my ride to pick me up at eight pm.
