You have every chance in the world to learn here at Emporia State. When I came to college I had a 2.8 After just one year here I now have a 3.52. The classes are fair in size, therefore you have more one on one time with your professors leaving you in a better enviroment to pick up and retain the material. As far as enjoyment goes I have never been happier in a town. The people of Emporia are friendly and outgoing. The nightlife is awesome. Coles, beer 30, and despoes just to name a few are great places to hangout during the weekend. As a freshman The dorms are the place to be, you can get a suite or a two person room. living in the dorms is like a big party all your friends are a few steps away. The campus is beautiful. You will never have a dull moment at Emporia state university
