DeVry is a great college full of valuable professors giving their students valuable information. I started in the summer of last year and have already obtained a great amount of knowledge. The courses are interesting and enjoyable.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I have enjoyed being here so far. I am attending online and it can be the best way to go. Assignments are given in the beginning of the week and can be completed on your own convenient time. As long as people meet the deadlines, which is by the end of the week, the courses are enjoyable and knowledgeable.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I did not have the finances available to enroll full time and am currently enrolled half time. This school is one of the greatest but can be a bit more expensive then other schools. But, there are lots of benefits that come with that as well.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Apply for as many scholarships as possible. If you meet the requirements, do it. Save all your essays you submit for scholarships and all essays you do in school. You will find it extremely valuable when applying for future scholarships.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
It is great for students who do not care for listening to a professor go on and on about whatever course you are studying. For students that have family and work because you can log in at any time and you wont have to push work or family aside. Everything is at your fingertips. The professor's lectures, the books, the research, the assignments, everything!
