Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Don't expect all fun and games. Getting into Baruch is tough. Getting into the Zicklin School of Business is tougher. Get prepared to work almost three times as long outside the classroom than inside it just to get a satisfactory grade. Baruch is not one of the best schools in New York because they allow slackers.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The academics are pretty intense from the start and only get more intense as you progress in the school, so while the classes are moderately easy in the freshman and sophomore years, stock up on good grades because they are extremely tough to get as you progress.

Baruch itself does not offer great food, but there are plenty of dining options within a square block radius of the campus that you will definitely find enjoyable. From Korean to Greek to French, there is something you will find to suit your pallet.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
With over 200 clubs that you can join on a whim there is no lack of fun things to do. There's also a game room complete with pool table, air hockey, and ping pong and plenty of lounge areas located all aroung the school. Also on the lower level is the athletic department: basketball courts, volleyball courts, swimming pool, paddleball arena, and full workout gym.

Baruch is an awesome school to attend because its not hidden away in a rural state, but it is in the heart of the business empire of The United States. New York CIty. This coupled with the fact that tuition usually doesnt exceed $3000-$4000 a semester makes for one really efficient and cost-friendly school.
