I absolutely love CCU. Here, it's not just a college, it's a community. Applying and attending CCU was the best decision I have ever made.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Don't freak out if you apply late! I didn't have all of my paperwork in 'til the July before school started and I still made it.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Being a music major, my workload is tough, but it's SO worth it.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Apartments freshman year? Awyeah. CCU by-far has the best housing I've ever seen on a college campus.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Lunch and dinner can be kind of sketch sometimes, but breakfast is always delicious!
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Sand volleyball, anyone? If it gets too cold just head to the student union or go hang out in other people's dorms. But if you don't mind spending money, Belmar isn't too far away and there's lots of shops and a movie theater.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Yeah, CCU is expensive, but they offer great academic scholarships and there really is nothing like it. When it's time for Christmas break, you get homesick for CCU. You become a family and a community that's ridiculously close, even after just a couple weeks.
