Describe your college in three sentences.

Coffeyville Community College is a great way to start one's college career. The size is perfect and the courses are challenging. Everyone is always so friendly and willing to help.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

The very first thing that I would say is to make sure one has a planner before attending college. It helps out a lot to stay organized and on time with deadlines. The next thing that I would personally recommend is find a way to get involved in a way that is enjoyable.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

For the most part, courses are challenging to the students. However, the college offers many alternatives to students if they need help no matter how busy the student may be.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Coffeyville Community College just completed the women's dorm building. It is a brand new building with a lot of space. Both men's and women's dorm offer many opportunities to get to know others and be active.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The choices of food that is offered to students is of good selection. There are plenty of healthy alternatives.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Coffeyville provides numerous sports and clubs to participate in. Coffeyville the city itself offers bowling, restaurants, parades, and much more. This city is a very college friendly town.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

For college students it's all about the how much everything costs. The city offers a Family Dollar and Dollar General. If the student can afford a little more expensive then there is Wal-Mart. Taco Bell, McDonald's, Long John Silvers, Arbys, along with many more restaurants are within walking distance of the college.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

This is a great start for all kinds of students. Athletes, small town students, and just anyone wanting a start that isn't ready for a four year college yet.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

Many sports, fraternities, and sororities are offered. There are also things like art clubs and music clubs.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

One can always feel safe on campus. People are always willing to help out and lend a hand. One can make friends really quick allowing them to feel safer.
