The strong liberal learning core lets you take a lot of different classes and helps you to learn outside your major from amazing professors. The classes are challenging but interesting and the professors are absolutely wonderful!
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
There is so much to do around campus! There are lots of clubs with a wide variety of interests and it's easy to start a new one. Campus Activities Board (CAB) has events every weekend on campus for free. Everyone is really friendly and it has a great sense of community!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
As an in-state student, absolutely! I am getting a great education and living in a beautiful residence hall at an affordable cost. I don't know much about out-of-state costs so it could be different.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
The campus is beautiful and mostly new, but construction isn't a problem and isn't in the way.
Rainboots are a good idea, it rains a lot in the winter and early spring instead of snowing.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
You have to be willing to get involved. Professors will know your name, even in big classes, and they'll notice when you skip class and aren't trying. It's also not the kind of school where you only go to class, most people seem to be involved in a club or two at least.
