You always learn a lot when you step in the class room! However you should be prepared to be challenged. Most classes are interesting because the students have many questions, so there are lots of discussions during the semester.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
Being at Central Bible College is like a second home for me. I love it here! Your build awesome relationships with those around you and some you will keep for a lifetime. CBC is not in the middle of the country, wal-mart is 3 minutes away, gas stations are closer and there are fast food places everywhere. There are always people to hang out with and things to do. I believe the best part for me is the park that CBC owns, it is on campus. The park is very relaxing with its creek, two ponds and mini waterfall.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
This school is not the cheapest but it is also not the most expensive. I believe it is well worth it. I am paying about $16,000 per year (not semester); although, it is a burden I can already see the effects this school has had on my life.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Do not be afraid to be yourself. There will be obstacles and some people will challenge you but you can not let it get you down. Always try to have a positive attitude. Bring as many quarters as you can for laundry! Finally, become the leader you were meant to be. There are many opportunities when you go to school. When you learn something new, take it in, and use it to impact some one's life in the present not the future.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
This school is for students who have a God given call placed on their lives. Those who are going into ministry and want hands-on experience before they get their degree should definitely check out Central. Also listen to God and He will direct you in the way you should go.
