This is a great school to prepare to transfer to a University. They have a broad selection of courses but you need to be on top of your registration in order to get the classes you want. This school is excellent for getting your GE classes and has transfer plans with most CA Universities.

I don't know much about dorm life but there is a wide variety of students attending Butte so there is a place for everyone.

The on campus cafeteria serves a large variety food and Chico has almost every type of restaurant you could ask for.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Chico is right down the road from the main campus and has tons to do on your off days. They have a huge beautiful park that runs through the whole town and a very happening downtown scene.

There are on campus police and security. In the time I have been here, I have not even heard of any crime. The school will provide information about crime rates on campus if you want to know.
