In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?

Austin Community College has helped challenge me as a duel credit student in areas I struggle in, such as testing and speaking up in class, and pushed me to lean into my strengths of writing.

How are you enjoying your time at this college?

I’ve made many friends and ACC offers so many study areas and assurance and technology to help complete homework with ease and satisfaction.

What tips can you share with prospective students?

Use the resources!! Reach out to every and all ACC resources available.

What qualities do you have that have best prepared you for success at this institution?

Writing has been really helpful, having the ability to put into words the experience and knowledge I’m learning.

In what ways do you feel this college challenges students academically?

It is a lot of heavy reading and testing, but there’s so many resources and groups to help.

How would you describe the dorm life at this school?

There is no dorm.

How would you describe the food and dining options?

Food provided by campus is limited, there are shops nearby though that provide great food. They offer wonderful food pantries and supplies.

In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?

So many clubs and meet ups with others, anything in your interest or field, they have a group!

In what clubs or organiziations have you participated and how have they impacted your overall experience?

Because it’s only my second semester I haven’t reached out yet, but participating in the dance classes have been so fun.

Are there any quirky or unique traditions that make your college special?

The mascot comes out for every slightly important event and we love him.

How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?

They provide wonderful mental health work and offer so many benefits and therapeutic help.

How has your college supported your career development and future goals?

They’ve helped me figure out my life after ACC as well as what to do with my time! They encourage fun activities and also help me not to waste my time.
