Arizona State is a rigorous state school that can provide many opportunities to those who know where to look. The school is expensive, but provides many unique services to the students. If one is willing to put in the work, ASU is a great place to be.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
An important aspect prospective students often ignore is location. For example, ASU is in the heart of Phoenix, which allows for many opportunities outside of the college.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
The general requirements are not too overwhelming, although the courses move quickly; however, when one adds in the Barrett requirements combined with extracurricular activities it becomes much more difficult. If one uses every opportunity, ASU is a highly rigorous school.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
The newer dorms are very nice and larger than the dorms in most schools; however, the old ones are in need of renovation.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The dining halls produce decent food, but it is often too crowded and the food becomes repetitive very quickly.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
ASU is right next to mill which has many bars and restaurants that are fun for people of all ages.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
The school is very expensive, but is still competitively priced for a state school. They should work on making the tuition more affordable though.

ASU is great for students looking to take the initiative and use every opportunity.
