Review of Arizona State University Campus Immersion

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?
Arizona State was my top choice based on the wide spread of classes offered, the great education, and the world changing young men and woman that have prospered out of ASU. My classes are challenging but with hard work A's are capable. I no longer worry if my classes will teach me random information not needed for my life; for I know that all of my classes I take at ASU will only help prepare me for my future in Education. The professor's are intelligent, willing to help, and very fare.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
Living in the dorms my freshman year was the best decision I have made aside from attending Arizona State University. With a campus so big a car was never needed to always have something to do. With free samples of soda, energy drinks, clothes, and food I was upset when I did not find something free everyday! The beautiful Tempe Town Lake always provides concerts and beautiful scenery for students to freely enjoy. The brand new light rail also allows cheap and easy travels to down town Phoenix where you can enjoy baseball games or hockey games! My dorm was the nicest and cleanest dorm I have yet to see, and the community of my floor was great due to our Resident Assistant.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
For instate students I believe that Arizona State is the finest education that you will be able to receive while in the region of Arizona. However, due to the recent increase in tuition it would make sense to me that out of state students look hard into options of schools they are able to attend, especially if money is not an issue. If these students decide that they love Arizona and what ASU has to offer, then Arizona State would be a great choice!
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Prospective Students take the following advice; do well on your SATS and ACTS for scholarships are not very hard to get at ASU, visit the campus, look into your majors program ( if no major has been decided pick a few you may enjoy and look into those), and live on campus!
Which types of students will excel at your college?
ASU is a great place for all students. With so many people you will be able to find a community by getting involved and many other students will be in the same college as you. ASU is especially known for their Business College, while their Education and Engineering College are among the top in the Nation. Arizona State is not located in an outdoorsy environment, but students are able to hike ASU Mountain at any time! People who enjoy the city life will do great here. The desert is beautiful.
