Review of Arizona State University Campus Immersion

from Santa Clara, CA

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

My first semester at ASU has been a blast! I'm a nursing student on the downtown campus in Phoenix. My course load at the college of Nursing & Health Innovation has been quite heavy, however if you stay focused and seek help from professors and tutors there is a high chance you'll succeed.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

So far I love Arizona! Everyone at the school that I've met is very friendly and respects differences. There is a lot to do outside of school activities as well as at the university, from football games, clubs and organizations, to joining sororities and fraternities.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

If you're getting In-State Tuition-yes. If you're paying out-of-state... it's difficult to say when paying the full $35,000. Make sure you get scholarships and grants!

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Stay focused and don't be afraid to ask for help when you feel like you are falling behind. It will only get worse if you don't seek help. Be open to new things and get involved!

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Outgoing, academic oriented, engaged, fun-loving, diverse.
