Review of Anderson University

Describe your college in three sentences.

I love attending this University! The atmosphere is friendly and the professors really care about you. The campus is gorgeous.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Don't be afraid to ask your admission counselor questions. Share your thoughts and feelings with them and with the student guides. Make an appointment with the area you wish to major in to ask even more questions.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The professor's have high expectations of their students but are also available to help you with anything you need. They are concerned about your life and well being and will do what they can to help.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

I really cannot rate this as I am a commuter student, but since it's required I'll give it a 4 from what I've seen of my friend's dorms. They vary from an actual dorm to dorm apartments depending on which year you are attending.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

They food is really good with lots of options each day. There are 4 places to get food ranging from a sack lunch to a cafeteria style all you can eat sit down dining room.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

I have several dance practices after school during the week while holding down 2 part time jobs as well as commute from home, so my fun time is limited. I do enjoy spending time with my dance friends when I have a chance and just hanging out with them.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

They have many outstanding programs including Theatre, Dance & Music, Nursing, Business, Theology, and Pre-Health.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

They have several safety lock-down areas with alarms as well as round the clock security. Girls are given a whistle as freshmen and a phone # to call if you need/want to be escorted from a building to your car or dorm at night.
