There are no A.C's inside student dorms on the account of the cold weather that is rampant during the winter season. Students would be advised to dress accordingly to the winter weather. There can be a large number of snow days in which classes are cancelled.

The food is not five star gourmet cuisine at Nyack. I would advise to stack up on homemade foods or be willing to eat out often, (which can be expensive).

There are various other clubs in the school aside from sports as well.. Nyack College at Rockland is located approximately ten minutes away from the renown Palisades mall. This mall is the second largest shopping mall in the New York Metropolitan area.
