Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

There's a lot of work to be done, as well as a lot of studying and memorizing. It's great, if you can keep on top of the workload. The professors are brilliant as well. They're nice, smart, approachable, and really knows what they're doing.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

There is a lot of work. A lot of time the courseload can feel extremely overwhelming, but keep at it and it can be rewarding. There are so many places you can find help. There are also many activities and events planned for the students each year. Some of the events include Relay For Life, movies every Friday, Bingo nights, comedians, Human vs. Zombie and much more.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

The price is steep, but you get a lot in return. There are many activities on campus, so many you don't necessarily need to leave the campus to find something fun to do. For example, there's the library, the work out gym, and the gymnasium. There are clubs like Zumba club, dance team, karate club, colleges against cancer, multicultural club and Another Creative Prospective. The student center is an amazing place as well. The dining hall offers an amazing variety of foods, including a Tim Horton's and Coldstone Creamery. And there's something happening in the atrium almost everyday.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Get to know your professors and the tutors in the writing center right off the bat. It will make your life much easier in the long run. They are there to help you, so never be scared to ask for help. Also, learn your way around the library building. The librarians are kind, very helpful and very willing to help out. They are saints when you're still learning your way around the library database. The writing center and the science assistance center are on the second floor, where there is a plethora of people able to help you manage your coursework. Though you'll want to find our their schedules because they're not there 24/7.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Great for people that keep on top of their work. If you're a slacker, you will fall behind fast and hard. You really only want to join the pharmacy program if you're a hard worker and willing to sacrifice time to study. You will definitely need to study much harder than you had in high school, so be prepared.
