Abdiel Garcia is Associate Director of Counselor Engagement & Success with EAB’s College Greenlight team, where he leads engagement efforts with College Greenlight’s nationwide network of advisors and college access organizations by designing programming efforts and connecting professionals to resources.

Prior to joining EAB, Abdiel worked as an inaugural college counselor at UCLA's Geffen Academy and as admissions officer and assistant director of the Undergraduate Minority Recruitment Program at Harvard University. Currently, Abdiel sits on the Board of Directors of the college access nonprofits Determined to Succeed and Palouse Pathways.

A proud first-generation college graduate, Abdiel holds a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Tufts University and a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
