Zora D. Gruwell Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for seniors enrolled at a high school in Caroline County, Maryland or current undergraduates, or graduates, enrolled at any campus of the University of Maryland. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of Greensboro, Maryland, or Caroline County, Maryland. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and traits of high personal character and leadership. Applicants must attend one of the following institutions: University Maryland/College Park, University Maryland/Baltimore, University Maryland/Baltimore County, University Maryland/University Park, University Maryland/Eastern Shores, University Baltimore, Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Frostburg University, Salisbury University, or Towson University. Scholarships will be awarded based on respective ability, educational goals, financial need, and career ambitions.
