Young Artists Scholarship

Ventura County Community Foundation

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Ventura County, California. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and plan to enroll in an accredited four-year college, university, or art institution as candidates for an undergraduate degree in an arts discipline. Applicants must have a demonstrated interest and involvement in the arts. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay that addresses the following topic: "How my art shapes my responsibility to community." Applicants must also submit one or two representations or samples of their art, for example, photo or photocopy of artwork, CD of performance, etc.
