WOW Bar Preparation Scholarship
Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ)
1993, the Women of WSAJ (WOW) section was established to encourage female-identifying members to exchange ideas and create mentorship relationships with other female attorneys to further the mission of WSAJ. To support aspiring female-identifying plaintiff’s attorneys, WOW raises funds from its membership to provide women law school grads and APR 6 law clerk grads with scholarships to help defray the cost of a Themis bar preparation course. The primary criteria for selection of scholarship recipients are: 1. the applicant must self-identify as female; 2. the applicant must demonstrate an interest and intent to practice in the plaintiff’s bar; and 3. the applicant must be preparing the take the Washington State bar exam in the next year. Other criteria that will be considered include financial need, academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities, and life experiences. Sign Up to Start Applying Award Varies
