Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

The Dr. Jon M. Andes Teacher Scholarship Fund will offer a scholarship to a graduating senior from Pocomoke, Snow Hill or Stephen Decatur High Schools who will attend a college or university and pursue a Maryland Educator Certificate in a critical shortage area and agree to apply for a teaching position in our school system.

Critical Shortage areas include: English for Speakers of Other Languages – ESOL (PreK-12); Mathematics (7- 12); Science (7-12); Special Education Areas; World Language – Spanish; Technology Education; Family and Consumer Sciences; and Computer Science (7-12).
