Wisconsin Women in Government Undergraduate Scholarship
Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG)
This scholarship is for women who are Wisconsin residents and enrolled or planning to enroll as full- or part-time undergraduate students at any school among the UW System, Wisconsin Technical College System, and in-state private colleges affiliated with the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be considering careers in public service, public administration, and government affairs. Applicants must have financial need as determined by the receiving school based on the applicant's eligibility for either the Federal Pell Grant Program, High Education Grant (WHEG), Wisconsin Tuition Grant (WTG), or Talent Incentive Program (TIP). Applicants must also have a C grade point average or better; possess leadership potential, initiative and excellent communication skills; and have an interest in public service, government, and the political process.
