This scholarship is for students enrolled full-time in a medical school in Wisconsin, who are entering their fourth year of medical school next fall. To qualify, applicants must be US citizens and show active involvement with the Wisconsin Medical Society or a county medical society. Preference will be given to candidates from Wisconsin and also to those who show a strong interest in practicing in Wisconsin, especially in areas of need. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, personal qualities and strengths, and letters of recommendation (one letter of recommendation must be from a Wisconsin Medical Society member).
