This scholarship is for juniors from Middletown High School in Middletown, Ohio, who have demonstrated scholastic achievement despite financial hardship. It is anticipated that these funds will be used to cover various expenses incurred during the senior year, such as fees required for taking the ACT or the SAT and for college applications. The scholarship will be used to eliminate or reduce the number of hours of part-time work the recipients would otherwise undertake after school hours in order to devote that saved time to studies.
