One-year scholarships to students graduating from Waterloo East High School who will be attending an accredited university, junior college, or trade school within the state of Iowa, and who demonstrate the abilities and strong desire required to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. Priority will be given to students of color, with an emphasis on African-American students.
