Horace Smith Fund

This award for undergraduate education is made annually by the Scholarship Committee to residents of Hampden County, MA who are members of the senior class at their local public or private secondary schools.

Awards are based on school records, college entrance examinations, general attainments and financial need. Awards will be continued through the four year course if the student’s record and need justify such continuance. Awards will be made on the basis of all available information, including school records, recommendations and examination scores. Consideration will be given to both the merit and financial need of the applicant.
