W. J. Blanchet Scholarship

Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia

This scholarship is for high school graduates of public or private schools in Richmond City, Henrico, Chesterfield, or Hanover, Virginia. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate the intent to pursue postsecondary studies in the fields of science and medicine. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic work, financial need, and strong participation in school activities and community service; be candidates for high school graduation at the end of the current academic year; and plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college or university the following academic year.
