Vera O. McDanel Scholarship

Marion Community Foundation

This scholarship is for graduating seniors and graduates of high schools in Marion County, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens, have attended a Marion County school for all of high school, be accepted at or enrolled in an accredited college/university, and rank in the top 25% of their class (high school seniors). Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in teaching US history or a career in engineering. Relatives of members of the selection committee, the McDanel family, and employees/board members of the Marion Community Foundation are not eligible for this scholarship.
