Texas Mutual Insurance Company offers college scholarships to qualified surviving family members of employees who die from an on-the-job accident, and to persons whose injuries qualify them for lifetime income benefits (LIBs) pursuant to the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act and their spouses and unmarried children.

The Texas Mutual scholarship program is open to: surviving, unmarried spouses and unmarried surviving children of an individual who died as a result of a work-related injury,
persons whose severe injuries qualify them for lifetime income benefits (LIBs) under the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act and/or the spouses and unmarried children of persons whose severe injuries qualify them for LIBs under the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act. New applicants can apply any time of year by completing an initial application.
