The objective of the scholarship is to increase and retain the number of new professionals entering the human resources or labor relations field as a career in order to sustain growth and cooperation in the labor-management industry within the State of Tennessee.
Eligibility is defined as any college or university student who:
1. is a legal resident of the State of Tennessee;
2. has completed the freshman and sophomore years of study in a degree program of a fully accredited two- or four-year public or private institution of higher learning in the State of Tennessee;
3. is classified a full time student by their educational institution;
4. is actively pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree;
5. is not related to a member of the Tennessee Labor-Management Foundation;
