Sustainable Tourism Scholarship

American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Foundation, Inc.

Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university anywhere in the world as an entering or returning graduate student with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. A clear focus on and commitment to the tourism subject area must be demonstrated. Application, resume, two letters of recommendation (academic and professional), transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay which addresses the following topic, "Please explain the merits of a sustainable tourism non-profit organization and be sure to discuss some actual examples of non-profit organizations to support your ideas" are required to be submitted.
