This scholarship is for high school seniors attending a public or private high school in the San Gabriel Valley or San Fernando Valley in California, including the following communities: Glendale, Montrose, Pasadena, Arcadia, Eagle Rock, La Canada, La Crescenta, Los Feliz, San Marino, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, and Encino. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll at an accredited college or university in the United States as full-time, degree-seeking, first-year students in the upcoming fall. Applicants must demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities. Applicants must be citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States. The application packet must be submitted in person.
