This scholarship is for high school and home schooled students who graduated or earned a GED between August 1, 2013, and June 1, 2014, or who will enroll as freshmen at a two- or four-year college or university in the fall of 2014. Also eligible are students enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university or accredited graduate program during the 2013-2014 academic year who are in good academic standing and will continue full-time enrollment through the 2014-2015 academic year. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent legal US residents. To apply, applicants must submit an essay on one of two given topics related to software.
