Hispanic Professional Engineers - Twin Cities Chapter (SHPE-TC)

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Twin Cities Professional Chapter (SHPE-TC) is dedicated to providing scholarship funds and educational support systems for engineering and science students of Hispanic/Latinx backgrounds. The SHPE-TC Academic Scholarship supports Hispanic/Latinx students in STEM fields. In order to be eligible, applicants must be MN residents of Hispanic or Latino/Latina/Latinx heritage. Applicants must plan to major in, or are currently majoring in, a degree program focused on science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) as defined by the Appendix on the National Science Foundation’s document NSF-18-573. Recipients must be able to attend the SHPE-TC Scholarship Gala. The Gala will be held in the Twin Cities and award winners attend for free. Each award winner may bring one guest with them at no charge.
