This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who live or attend school in the Greater Hartford area in Connecticut. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolling in a four-year college or university full-time; be in the top third of their class rank; have a good academic record; be an active volunteer in school, community, or other extracurriculars; and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to African American males from a public high school in the City of Hartford.
