This scholarship is for public high school juniors in Providence, Rhode Island, who have overcome a serious obstacle in their academic path and are planning post-secondary schooling. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need and be nominated by their high school guidance counselors. Applications submitted independently without recommendations from the guidance counselor, advisor, teacher, or principal will not be considered.
